French football star Kylian Mbappe has set his sights on achieving the treble this season, with the prospect of winning the league title, the French Cup and the Champions League all within reach.
The 22-year-old has already shown that he is capable of delivering in the most demanding of circumstances, scoring a hat-trick against Paris Saint-Germain in the French Cup final last weekend to help his team claim their first piece of silverware since 1994.
But Mbappe's ambitions go much further than just securing a trophy. The Paris Saint-Germain forward is determined to add the Champions League crown to his growing list of achievements, having already won the competition twice in his career.
With the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo now out of the picture at the top level, Mbappe believes he can lead PSG to glory once again, with the club currently sitting second in the league table behind Paris Saint-Germain themselves.
The Frenchman knows that it will not be easy, however, as his team faces tough competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid in the remaining fixtures of the season.
But Mbappe remains undeterred by the challenges ahead, and is focused on putting together another outstanding campaign for his country.
In an interview with L'Equipe, Mbappe said: "I want to win everything possible this season. I'm hungry for success and I believe we have the quality to do it."
As the summer transfer window approaches, Mbappe will no doubt be looking to strengthen his squad to ensure that PSG can continue their dominance of European football. But whatever happens next year, one thing is certain - Mbappe will be right there at the forefront of any discussions about who could potentially win the treble.
