The Bundesliga club FC Augsburg has acquired the services of Tottenham Hotspur's young winger, and the deal was completed with a six-month buy-out option.
Spurs' 22-year-old winger, Jordan Pickford, is set to join the German giants for a fee of £1.5 million, which includes an option to extend the contract for another year.
Pickford is known for his pace and dribbling skills, and he made his debut for Spurs in last season's Champions League campaign, scoring two goals against Manchester City.
He impressed manager Mauricio Pochettino during training sessions and was given his first start by the coach in the Premier League match against West Ham United.
Pochettino praised Pickford's progress and said: "We're delighted to have brought him in as a replacement for our top scorer. He's got so much potential and we know that he'll make an impact on our team."
However, it remains to be seen how long Pickford will stay with the club and if he can maintain his form before moving on permanently.
In the meantime, Spurs will need to find someone else to replace Pickford, who has already missed several matches due to injury. The club will also look to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
